can man, by mere passion change
the course of his allotted span?
are dreams enough to redefine
the pattern of his pre design
or is he doomed to failure?
can man, by his indifference cause
the tides of time to cease their flow?
will apathy the heavens close
or disbelief a problem pose
to God, the mans creator?
does man, therefore, cause no effect
his actions useless - to no end?
or does the world his passion need
to fight the universal greed
that dooms the world to failure?
so, is man nothing more than clay
his substance to the dust return?
or does his praise the heavens ring
his dreams become an offering
to God, his souls creator?
